About this Course

Beginning July 1, 2026, all Preschool and VPK CLASS observations in Hillsborough County will be conducted using the CLASS® Pre-K–Third 2nd Edition tool.
Rather than introducing major changes, Teachstone has refined the original Pre-K tool by clarifying language, addressing commonly misunderstood concepts, and strengthening the focus on equity across cultures, classroom settings, and the diverse needs of children. This presentation is designed to support providers in making a smooth transition to 2nd Edition by exploring the what, why, and how of the updated tool. Participants will learn how these changes can positively impact teachers and children and will be given an opportunity to ask questions and share concerns.
Join us to learn about the updated CLASS tool and discover how easily the CLASS® Pre-K–Third 2nd Edition framework can be integrated into your classrooms.
