This training is appropriate for directors and teachers of 4 and 5‐year‐old children. Course participants will gain early math knowledge and practical information about how to structure the classroom environment and plan activities to integrate math concepts and skills throughout the learning day. The course focuses on the Mathematical Thinking Number Sense standards outlined in the Florida Early Learning and Developmental Standards: Four Years Old to Kindergarten and the importance of using a developmental progression when teaching math throughout the day.
