Join us for an engaging learning event focused on hands-on methods for teaching developmentally appropriate emergent literacy skills at the preschool level! We’ll explore phonological and phonemic awareness concepts, including rhyming, segmenting, and blending syllables, along with effective writing activities. Discover fun, play-based approaches to intentionally scaffold early literacy skills with children throughout the day. We can't wait to see you there!

Course Outcomes

Differentiate between the components of phonological awareness, phonemic awareness and phonics. 

Explore and implement age-appropriate early literacy skill building activities that can be used in the preschool classroom throughout the day.
