Introducing our first Creature Feature series, in partnership with ZooTampa and iSpy Tampa Bay, watch several videos of our local animal ambassadors!

About this Course

The world is filled with creepy, crawly, slithering, hopping, and flying creatures—and they’re more important than you might think! In this exciting training, discover which animals are native to Florida, where they live, what they need to survive, and how even the creepiest creatures play a vital role in keeping our ecosystems healthy. Through a partnership with ZooTampa and the iSpy Tampa Bay initiative, watch engaging videos featuring animal ambassadors and their caretaker, Keely, and get an up-close look at why these amazing animals are so important to nature.

Then, take your learning back to the classroom! Create a lesson plan with a family resource and an age-appropriate activity that helps children explore the animals they’ve discovered and understand their benefits to our environment. Get ready to turn curiosity into discovery and help young learners see Florida’s creepy crawlies as fascinating, beneficial, and essential members of our ecosystem!
