About this Course

Strong family partnerships are a cornerstone of high-quality early childhood programs. The Art of Leadership: Engaging Families provides practical, research-based strategies to help Directors and Owners build authentic, trusting relationships with families that support children's learning, strengthen communication, and foster a welcoming program culture. This book study provides a structured opportunity for leaders to reflect on their current family engagement practices, learn alongside peers, and strengthen their ability to create meaningful partnerships with families. Through guided discussions and reflection on key chapters, participants will connect the book's concepts to real-world situations, evaluate their current approaches, and identify actionable strategies to enhance family engagement, promote collaboration, and cultivate a culture where every family feels valued, respected, and connected to their child's early learning experience.
