Course Format: In Person

Growing Together in Nature: Family Engagement

This follow-up coaching experience is designed for teachers who have completed the Seeds in the City: Nature in the Classroom training and are ready to take the next step — engaging families in nature-based learning.
During this coaching, teachers will learn how to share with parents the many ways nature supports children’s development and learning — from building creativity and problem-solving skills to the benefits of getting messy and exploring the world around them.
With guidance and support, teachers will plan and host a Family Nature Event at their center. This event will give families hands-on opportunities to experience how nature play fosters learning, connection, and curiosity.
