Alisha attended The University of Tampa and majored in Public Health. While in college she began working in primary education and found her passion working with children. After graduating, Alisha worked in the early childhood field focusing on child development as well as maternal and child health. She enjoys working with children and their families to help promote child development through interactions and family bonding. Alisha has gained experience working with families and their children while being a child development specialist and facilitating playgroups for children ages 0-5. She has also promoted child development and the importance of bonding with children during her time as a Childbirth Educator and Infant Massage Instructor. In 2021, Alisha joined the ELCHC determined to help families seeking developmental support and resources.
Alisha and her husband have three young children and enjoy spending time making memories as a family. Alisha enjoys visiting local markets, going to brunch and reading books.
