This series focuses on the Infant-Toddler and Pre-k Class observations tool. Participants will review past data and learn strategies for effective observation, covering dimensions such as Teacher Sensitivity, Behavior Guidance, and Language Support. The goal is for early childhood professionals to examine CLASS (Infant, Toddler, PreK) domains and identify effective interactions for high quality interactions in classrooms.

Course Outcomes

Learners will describe how to improve the depth, duration, & frequency of these learned interactions to increase their previous composite score.
Learners will examine the different Dimensions and behavioral indicators from the CLASS dimension guides.
Learners will develop methods to improve the indicators from the guides to improve their own interactions with children.
Learners will explain what a CLASS observation looks like.
