Tiffany Basch
From an early age, Tiffany knew she wanted to work with children in some capacity. She began that journey in high school, working in a daycare we had on campus. That's when she realized that early childhood was her passion and pursued it. After graduating high school, she obtained her DCF 45 hours and her CDA. Tiffany began working as an in-home nanny and later moved on to become an educator at a local childcare facility where she taught ages 0-4. She went on to graduate with her associate's degree from Hillsborough Community College, followed by a Bachelor's Degree in Anthropology from the University of South Florida. As Tiffany has grown with the ELCHC, so has her professional development. She is a certified reliable observer in the Infant, Toddler, and Pre-K CLASS Measurement Tools, a Lastinger Coaching Certified, Mind in the Making certified and Train the Trainer for 10 Components of Quality Care for Infants & Toddlers. Tiffany continuously participates in as much professional development as possible and enjoys attending early childhood conferences. Tiffany is currently the lead on the On My Way to Kindergarten initiative and 545 initiatives: where she has presented at ALEC and NAEYC this past year. These initiatives successfully host caregiver engagement events as well as promoting literacy, specifically targeting on how to support our 3â5-year-olds in the county to ensure a smooth transition into kindergarten.
