Leigh Clark

Leigh has worked in early education for over 10 plus years, starting as a Teacher Assistant in an early childhood center and then a teacher and moved on to working as a Center Director. Leigh continued her journey in early education by working in an administration capacity as a childcare partner & VPK Coordinator for HeadStart & Early HeadStart. She holds a bachelor’s in health administration with a minor in Early childhood education, Advanced Director Credential with VPK Endorsement for the state of Florida with certifications in Florida assessment of student thinking (FAST) star literacy, Trauma informed care and Trauma informed care for childcare professionals. Leigh has extensive experience providing oversight as a Director of a center specializing in providing support for children and families exposed to substance use disorders.
Leigh’s passion for aiding early educators and being an advocate for early education led her to her current position here with ELCHC as an Early Learning Support Specialist. Leigh enjoys giving back to her community and spending time with her family.
