Leigh-Anne joined the Early Learning Coalition of Hillsborough County (ELCHC) in early 2022 as a Program Initiatives and Education Support Specialist. She brings a diverse background in education and administration including federal/state financial aid and licensing institutions. Leigh-Anne has also worked with students as a support advisor for Federal Financial Aid pertaining to universities and technical institutes. Also, having worked with children aged 3-13 years as a preschool teacherâs assistant and a before/aftercare counselor at a charter school.
At the ELCHC, Leigh-Anne plays a pivotal role in supporting quality improvement initiatives. Her responsibilities include assisting directors and teachers with Coalition programs, analyzing assessment data for accuracy, resolving data discrepancies, and overseeing application accuracy. She also ensures timely reporting and collaborates with staff to consolidate and archive data. As a committed team player, Leigh-Anne supports staff and providers in navigating various programs and systems to enhance early learning outcomes.
Since joining ELCHC, Leigh-Anne has earned a certificate in Volunteer Management from the Nonprofit Leadership Center and serves as one of the lead Volunteer Ambassadors, supporting events and community engagement efforts.
Outside of work, Leigh-Anne enjoys spending time with her family, especially her daughter. She loves outdoor adventures like beach days, camping, and bike rides, as well as creative activities such as arts & crafts. In her free time, she can be found enjoying karaoke nights, game nights, or relaxing by a campfire.
