Diane Kollner
Diane has worked in the profession of Early Childhood Education (ECE) for over forty years. She began her journey in high school in their regional occupational program and was trained as an assistant. Diane graduated from the University of La Verne with a Bachelor of Science in Child Development. She has a masterâs degree in public administration from the University of San Bernardino.
Diane has worked in several positions in the childcare programs, including teacher and director at her sister's family childcare home and at Cal Poly University Student Center. She has worked with developmentally delayed infants and toddlers in an early intervention center-based program as well as in-home early intervention.
She worked in a mental health clinic for mothers and their children who were in for in a court ordered rehab as well having mental heath issues. In all of the programs she has worked with, the familyâs represented a diverse group of people ranging from immigrants from as far as Bali to El Salvador and victims of domestic violence.
In Florida, Diane has coach providers under the state assessment tool, the Environment Rating Scale (Infant, Toddler, Preschool and School Age ), and the Class observation tool (infant, toddler, preschool). Diane is also certified in Class Group Coaching (MMCI) in both Preschool and the Infant/Toddler tools. She is passionate about the providers and want them to have as much support as possible so they may provide the best care for our most vulnerable children.
Diane has two feline fur babies and enjoy gardening in her off time.
